This product is the solution for all Microsoft Windows 32 Bit operating systems like Win95, Win98, WinME WinNT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. It is designed to copy Audio Tracks from Audio CD's digitally to your hard disk with the help of the installed CDROM drives. It doesn't make use of a soundcard or any other sound hardware. You need only a CDROM drive which is capable of Digital Audio Extraction (DAE) and which is connected to your SCSI or IDE controller (other controller types are not working with this windows version of the program).

ATAPI drives should be detected by WinDAC during the SCSI Bus scan (Rescan drives command in WinDAC32) automatically. If the drives are not detected, see the ASPI setup instructions for the necessary changes. A lot of configuration options let you help to get usable results even if your CDROM drive is not the best in Digital Audio Extraction (DAE) disciplin.

The complete multithreaded copy engine allows you to copy from more than one CDROM drive at a time. With the new PlugIn support it is easy to add additional output formats and the enhanced error detection for Plextor CDROM drives helps you to get clean copies even from scratched CD's.
